元々字書きで絵はノータッチでしたが、2008年2月に自作の東方カードゲーム制作にイラストが多数必要になり、周囲の絵描きに頼んでも足りない状況だったので、自分でも描くことにしたのが始まり。
以後ド下手ながら絵を描くことの喜びに実に十五年以上ぶりに目覚めてしまい、個人的な趣味に傾倒した変な絵ばかり描いています。自分のイマジネーションが形になるのはやはり楽しい。
そういった経緯から、現在主に描いているのは東方Projectシリーズのファン（なのか？）アートばかりです。4月あたりから漫画も描き始め、友人の同人誌に強圧的に寄稿したりしました。東方絵では俺と海（ウモ屋）さんとCYTOKINEさんと東方酔死体さんたちをリスペクトしています。
とにかく絵についてはいまだ絶望的に下手ですから、もはや上しか見えません。いまだ新たに一本線を引く度に自分の成長を実感できる……ってどんだけ進化の歴史から遅れてるのやら。

Recently I started to write an English summary of my comment written in Japanese for each of my pictures. As looking around pixiv for Touhou arts, I was so surprised and exited to know that there are so many foreign fan arts.
Though web-based services such as SNSs were not limited to certain regions or cultures in its origin, most of them in Japan are aimed to domestic residents in general due to difficulties in text/language capability. But pixiv enabled international communications through SNS with one of the most traditional (perhaps universal) communication method in history, the pictures.
I have been a fan of foreign comics cultures since childhood and feeling uneasy of current self-oriented comics/animation markets in Japan. As an individual act to change current situation, I will continue to write English summaries to make less barriers among international pixiv users as possible.
