No joke, there's a soda company called Faygo and they have a drink called Redpop. Literally Red 40 soda. I imagine that's what this is.

as a kid this probably would have worked, the sheer amount of things I couldn't have because Red 40 made me hyperactive and aggressive...

The sad part is that the red 40 is the healthier choice.
