‘Tick in the City of Broken Dreams’

Trying to speed things up a bit and not spend forever on each piece (Spoiler: it didn’t happen.) Partly because this piece was just too fun to make, one of the most enjoyable ones I’ve worked on fr. Took me back to the good old days when it was all fun and games 😌. Character is from a personal story I’ve been writing for god knows how long now. And yes, it is a dude, but is that really a surprise at this point?

Also: sort of funny/weird backstory for the outfit inspiration for this; I was sitting parked outside a grocery store and saw this dude (or girl, I’m still mad confused about that one :S) with the sickest drip I’ve seen. Dude looked stylish af, pixie cut and these Harley-Quinn looking pants and checkered shirt that I kept admiring for like 20 seconds before I snapped out of it and the dude pulled out in a tesla, leaving me in a somewhat weird state admiration and existential pondering, as I’m never going to see that person ever again. Like honestly idk wtf happened there, but the guy had enough style to make me want to both draw it and left me in a weirdly empty state. Life is strange lads, and this blogpost is too long already so im done now 🤷
